ALLEGRO AMI UTG ENDPOINT
The Allegro Under-the-Glass (UTG™) Universal Endpoint for Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) is an industry-leading innovation in durable endpoint design technology featuring no external connecting wires or antennas. The Allegro UTG register endpoints are built on our patented programmable Interpreter® register platform that enables use on 95% of traditional mechanical meters installed today. This exclusive endpoint technology is flexible, migratable, and able to operate in both fixed network and drive-by environments.
For situations with deep pits or vaults or where Base Station distance may compromise performance, the UTG endpoint is available with an external low profile antenna. To ensure maximum environmental reliability, the only wired connection is an IP68-rated push-pull connector that is coupled to our ruggedized low-profile omnidirectional antenna. This boosts the total range of the Endpoint by up to 250%, providing extended performance reliability.
3G INTERPRETER REGISTER SYSTEM
The Interpreter is a patent protected, fully programmable, interoperable register system that can be universally applied to most any water meter in use today. It is smart, self-sensing, and plug-n-play to allow immediate connectivity and data communication benefits to utilities.
The Interpreter works by utilizing a pre-programmed algorithm to detect the magnetic signatures of the 100 million plus traditional mechanical meters currently installed across North America. The register then synthetically replicates the register for that meter. This means that utilities can easily retrofit their installed meter base as opposed to implementing a costly complete system overhaul. The register can even be reprogrammed multiple times for use on a different meter make and model at a later time.
ACCULINX ENCODER REGISTER
AccuLinx is a mechanical encoder register designed to provide interoperability by connecting Master Meter mechanical meter products to our 3G Mobile AMR, Allegro Mobile, and Allegro AMI systems, or any competitor’s system offering.
This product is an excellent solution for basement located meters where a utility may be concerned with the presence of batteries.
ELINX INTERPRETER
eLinx is built on Master Meter’s patented Interpreter Universal Register System. This universal encoder presents new equipment choices by interconnecting mechanical meters that have standardized bayonet bodies to any AMR/AMI system using the universal communications UI-1203 protocol.
